100 Opportunities

Momentum is building for our winter Alpha course. It begins this Tuesday, January 30 at 6:30 PM at the Eberhard restaurant and bar. We are praying for 100 new guests that you will bring to at least this first Alpha event. There is no pressure to come to the weeks after and there is no follow-up or spamming those who come to Week 1. Just simply, come and see.

I continue to be in awe of how you respond as a church to opportunities to invite friends and strangers to our events. For example, last December over 800 people came to the ASD Christmas party. Why do we do that party? We do it to create the culture of invitation so people you invite will know they will have a good experience at an ASD event. For our January Beer & Theology we had over 100 people come to those two events. Then you responded with great generosity for our end of the year financial output both for our operating fund and the Crossroads campaign.

Again, I am so pleased with your generosity of spirit and am trusting that you will come through for this first Alpha meeting this Tuesday. Come and bring friends, family, people you work with and invite them to this first Alpha meeting. No charge, no pressure, no follow-up, just a good evening and connecting with community, dinner, and a drink on the house if you want!

Come and see. These words of Jesus in John 1:38 characterize everything we do at All Saints Dallas. Who are the kinds of people you will bring?

  • friends
  • family
  • un-churched, under-churched, de-churched, over-churched
  • people who might be going through relationship issues
  • just married
  • just having children
  • come bring your own self
  • just out of college
  • changing jobs
  • new to Dallas
  • looking for friends and community
  • etc.

Blessings to you all. You can bless me by partnering with God by inviting and bringing a friend or more for Alpha on Tuesday January 30th at 6:30 pm at the Eberhard. Come and see.

On Mission,
