First Fruits Prayer Service

  • Date: Every first Friday of the month
  • Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

What is it?

The name comes from the spiritual reality and breakthrough described in the New Testament and especially the book of Acts. On the day of Pentecost, in Acts 2, the Holy Spirit was poured out in fulfillment of centuries of prophecies and Jesus' own prophetic words (John 7, Luke 24, Acts 1). This outpouring was followed by supernatural gifts of healing, words of knowledge, wisdom, etc. as recorded in Acts, I Corinthians 12, Romans 12 and I Peter. These were the "first fruits" of Pentecost. Accompanied by God's word these gifts were, and are, entry points for many to follow Jesus and glorify God.

At All Saints Dallas, we believe that the more we pray and ask for the operation of these gifts the more we will experience healing, answered prayer, faith building experiences and trust in God. Come with hearts and minds open to God's active Spirit working in your lives. First Fruits services are the first Friday of every month and include time to worship and hear good balanced teaching on the gifts of the Spirit. We pray for the "first fruits" of Pentecost to be manifest in our lives and in the lives of those for whom we pray, and to whom we witness.

Come and see!

Testimony from Susan Williams

My husband and I attended the Friday evening First Fruits service with +Doc Loomis. We were very moved by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the room that evening . . . As we left, we stopped to talk with a woman who asked about our grandson who has had some ongoing health issues. +Philip joined us as we prayed with her for healing for our sweet grandbaby. It was a special moment for us that evening. Since that night, my daughter had an appointment with our grandson’s doctor. And we have great news—our grandson has improved remarkably! Now, I know it could be the new medicine, but I also know that the power of praying with the authority given to us by the Holy Spirit brought about this healing. I am praising and thanking God for this encouraging report and for those who have shared our burden. We are so thankful to have participated in the Lord’s healing ministry at All Saints Dallas.
