Members of All Saints will vote for new board members at the Annual Parish Meetings after each service or online on January 31.
As a native Texan, a husband, and a father of 3, I am grateful to call All Saints Dallas home. Jenn and I, along with our kids, have been involved at ASD since early 2018. Our engagement in the church has been marked by hosting and co-leading a Pastorate, worship on Sunday mornings, and more recently, participation in the Spiritual Authority Cohort. We are passionate about hospitality and healing, and we are eager to lean into and ask God to continue to empower and increase ASD’s ability to offer both to the people of Dallas. Vocationally, as a masters level and licensed professional counselor, I am serving as a business leader for a behavioral healthcare company headquartered here in Dallas.
I joined All Saints Dallas (ASD) with my husband, Jim, at its inaugural membership service. Over the years I have served primarily with the young women’s ministry, Life-on-Life (LOL) as a Bible teacher and on the ASD prayer team. In earlier days I helped coordinate women’s luncheons, led a pastorate and for a time worked as the ASD Communications Coordinator. Currently Jim and I are participating in the NOVO Spiritual Authority training. We spent most of our careers as missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators (he still does, working with Bible translation for sign languages) including living in Kenya for three years. In my work with Wycliffe I served as International VP of Corporate Communications. I currently run a communications business, helping non-profits with promotional/donor relations needs. I also write and blog to spiritually encourage caregivers of loved ones with mental health challenges. My greatest human joy comes from our five darling grandchildren (as well as our four grown children!).
I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but have lived in Texas since I was a kid. After finishing college at the University of Texas at Arlington, I moved to Dallas to begin a career in the advertising industry. I’m currently the president and founder of a small advertising firm called Belmont Icehouse. We have a variety of clients including DART, Texas A&M and Tarrant County Health Department. Leigh, my wife, and I joined All Saints just over 4 years ago and we’re so grateful for the love, the support, the friendships and the opportunities it has provided us in our faith journey. Over this time we’ve really enjoyed helping out with Alpha, co-hosting a pastorate, being a member of the Crossroads Connections team and serving as an occasional usher. I’m an avid music fan and the proud parent of 2 dogs and a cat, Otis, Etta and Henry.
I have been a member at All Saints for over seven years and previously served on the Board as Chairman. I was also a big part of our building project and move to downtown in 2019. I graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Oklahoma and am a certified public accountant. I’m actively involved in several inner-city projects funding camps, schools and turn-around projects in the North Texas area, and I am Chairman of the Board at Behind Every Door, an outreach ministry. My favorite way to serve at All Saints is with ASD Kids. My wife Melissa is also a member at ASD, and we have 4 grown children.
I grew up in Minnesota and Florida and, after attending Wheaton College, my wife Abby and I moved to Washington, DC where we attended the Falls Church and developed a life-long love for Anglican teaching and worship. We quickly found and fell in love with All Saints Dallas when we moved to Texas in 2014, and enjoy being a part of this community through our Pastorate and close friendships in the congregation. Professionally, I spent a number of years at the CIA before joining McKinsey and Company as a consultant when we moved to Dallas. My work at McKinsey focuses on helping companies think through important decisions and strategic challenges, and I would be excited to bring this talent and passion to the All Saints Board of Stewards. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking Italian food, and writing spy fiction. Abby and I have three children, Miles, Leo, and Mabel, and a relatively well-behaved golden retriever named Lily.
I was born in the small panhandle town of Spearman, TX and moved to Dallas twenty years ago (!) to attend SMU. My husband, Brent and I have attended All Saints since its inception. Since then, we’ve had three kids who are now ages 7, 6 and 3. I am a full-time mom and part-time lawyer. I have served on the All Saints board for the last year and a half, and am honored to be nominated to serve again!
