The ASD Outreach philosophy is simple. Encourage and support those ministries in which our parishioners are actively involved; to disciple and strengthen our members in their walk with Christ that they may reflect His light in the world.
Please browse the many and varied outreach opportunities below.Each of these ministries are championed by a member at All Saints and have been vetted by our Outreach Team, a group including clergy and Board members. Abide - Abide Women's Health Services believes in the worth of human beings and believes that steps should be taken to lead to human flourishing wherever necessary. And through human flourishing will come reparation, redemptive justice, racial reconciliation, and anti-racism resulting in equity.
Act. - Equipping underserved communities to take back their streets from crime and violence.
Alpha USA - Developed as a short course at HTB in London, UK, in 1990 Nicky Gumbel took over running Alpha and found that many people outside of the church wanted to explore the Christian faith. Alpha now runs in every part of the global church, including the Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church and all mainline Protestant denominations. All Saints Dallas has been invested in Alpha since the beginning of our church plant as a way to reach our community with the saving grace of Jesus each Spring and Fall. Art House Dallas - Following in the footsteps of Art House America, Art House Dallas works to cultivate creativity for the common good. This work is done through our programs, curated events, community partnerships, and artist care in order to inspire everyone to live more imaginative, meaningful lives. Through nurturing a creative community of people who learn, grow, and create together, we believe good things result—good things meant for all.
Behind Every Door - Behind Every Door seeks to transform poverty from the inside out through on-site programming and resource partnerships in underserved apartment communities.
Buckner International - Buckner International is a ministry dedicated to the transformation and restoration of the lives we serve. We are a Christ-centered organization that delivers redemptive ministry to the most vulnerable from the beginning to the ending of life.
Freedom in Christ - The Steps to Freedom in Christ is a practical application of Heb. 12:1-2 “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”. Jesus told us to make disciples, not just converts. God’s designs is for His people to be “Free and Fruitful” followers empowered to make more disciples. This is God’s plan for every believer, in every church, in every nation – for all time.
Gateway of Grace - Integrate and empower refugees to become productive members of society by mobilizing the Church and building Christ-centered relationships. See the practical and spiritual needs of refugees in our communities met through Gateway of Grace services and compassionate and meaningful relationships with Gateway of Grace volunteers.
Hope United - Bringing hope to the world's forgotten poor, Hope Ignited provides medical care and training for local healthcare providers, and education to orphans, refugees and children of impoverished families. As former parishioners, ASD supports the Baldridge family in their missionary work in Guinea.
Intervarsity - A vibrant college campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty, ministering in a variety of ways, including planting chapters that reach every corner of campus life, sending students to global missions fields, serving the larger Christian Church through retreat and training centers, and producing award-winning books and video resources.
Liturgical Folk - A sound of liturgical renewal that pairs historic church language with modern folk sounds. They believe the church can be a credible artistic witness in the world by listening to the “sound in the ground” of a place, and by making beautiful and believable sacred music in response. ASD Former Music Director, Ryan Flanigan, and the rest of Liturgical Folk invite you to join them in reimagining the hymnal for a new generation of ecumenical worship.
Living Hope - Proclaiming God's truth in the journey with those seeking sexual and relational wholeness through a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ by providing a safe place for individuals seeking restoration and healing through weekly support group meetings, moderated online support forums, in-depth discipleship programs, and active partnerships with churches around the world.
Men of Nehemiah - The Men of Nehemiah is a Christian organization located in South Dallas designed to rebuild the lives of men and families that have been torn apart by the vicious onslaught of poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, crime, and violence. Their Discipleship Program provides homeless and formerly incarcerated men with residential accommodations, individual discipleship training, addiction treatment including individual, group and family clinical counseling, mentorship, job readiness training, case management, computer literacy training, and an array other recovery support services.
Our Calling - More than a nonprofit serving the homeless, Our Calling is a movement motivated by the love of Christ to search in every corner of the city for the lost and needy to offer them true friendship and meaningful support. Building long-term relationships with friends on the street to guide them to a relationship with Jesus Christ that will help them realize their worth and inspire them to invest in their lives.
St. Philip's School and Community Center - St. Philip’s School and Community Center provides unparalleled education and compatible community services through a faith-based experience, with emphasis on serving low and moderate income families, developing students who are Christ-centered, culturally aware, and intellectually driven. Seed Effect - A Christ-centered economic development organization whose mission is to plant the seeds that overcome poverty by providing access to economic empowerment, education, and spiritual discipleship in marginalized communities around the world.
The Human Impact - Existing to befriend the homeless and bridge the relational gap to change lives. A non-profit partnering with the long-term homeless in Dallas, they believe poverty stems most fundamentally from broken relationships and that change happens through relationship; therefore, the solution to poverty is in new, healthy relationships and healthy community.
The Well Community - Providing hope and healing to adults recovering from mental illness through healthy relationships, essential services and meaningful work, offering hope and healing through the power of faith, friendship and best-practice interventions.
Thrive - Women’s Clinics offering compassionate care to women and their partners experiencing unplanned pregnancy. Thrive specializes in pregnancy confirmation and options counseling.
Wycliffe International - For more than 70 years, Wycliffe has helped people around the world translate the Bible into their own languages. Today, at least 2,000 languages still need a Bible translation started, and Wycliffe is working faster than ever to reach those languages as soon as possible.
